Diplomas
What are they?
New qualifications being rolled out for 14 to 19-year-olds, to bridge the gap between academic and vocational learning, with a combination of classroom learning, creative thinking and work experience. Students will be able to do them instead of GCSEs or A levels, but can also include some GCSEs and A levels in their diploma programme.

The new diplomas starting next year will cover 14 different subjects include things like IT, hospitality and catering, and travel and tourism.
